Faifer's first fish!

Faith posing with her first fish. She wanted to hold the fish for the picture but it was flapping so much she needed her daddy's help.

Jaron was not so lucky. Maybe it was because he reeled his worm in immediately after Daddy would cast it out. He didn't mind not catching anything. He has fun no matter what he is doing!! He just kept saying, "I got one, I got one!"

Both of our kids share in Dave's love for fishing. I'm still not completely sold on the whole idea, but I sure do have a great time watching them have fun together! Fishing season has just begun!

Happy Birthday, Auntie Caryn. You Rock!!

At 29 years young, she is the baby of the group! But, don't let her age fool you, she can sing and rock every instrument on Guitar Hero!! I, on the other hand, have only mastered the guitar on the beginner level.

Faith borrowed Auntie's blue Seattle Sounder's wig so she could feel like a true rock star!! Go Faith! Go Sounders!

Jaron playing the drums, what a big boy!
We had a fun weekend with Caryn and Brian. Bob's Burgers, Guitar Hero, birthday cake with a little bit of egg shell in it, movie: The Rocker (yes, this is the 3rd time we have seen it...Dave can't get enough, thinks everyone should see it!), morning run together, garage sales... Hooray!

Egg-cellent Easter!!

Rainbow: Dave took the picture of the above rainbow while we were driving passed Mt. Vernon on Easter evening. It was the brightest, most perfect rainbow any of us have ever seen (this picture can't do it justice...it was a perfect arch, almost too bright to stare at). Dave thought it was so beautiful, it was actually spooky! Thank you God for your amazing creation and for awing us on such a special day!

Easter Morning: We are so blessed!

Coloring eggs: I got everything ready to color eggs while the kids ran all over the house not trying to contain their excitement. By the time I was ready to have them come up to the table, they had stripped their shirts off because they were so warm from literally "running all over the house." Don't you just love how excited kids get about things?! Their new attire worked for me...didn't have to worry about them staining their shirts! :)

Silly Boy!
